René Goscinny - Morris - Lucky Luke - A karaván

Katie MacAlister - Light My Fire
It’s not easy being a demon lord, a Guardian, and a wyvern’s mate all at once. Luckily, I just moved to London to study all things Guardian with my mentor. A new start is just what I need since being betrayed (again!) by Drake, wyvern of the green dragons. Though I’m supposedly immortal, I’m not so sure my heart can take another beating. But I’m still officially Drake’s mate—and my presence is required at a meeting of the green dragons. How I’m going to keep my distance from that fire-breathing hunk is beyond me. It doesn’t help that several attempts have been made on my life. Or that I’m wanted by the entire otherworldly population of imps since Jim, my doggie demon sidekick, accidentally ate their ruler. Being an alpha-dragon and all, Drake is sure to get protective of me. Which might not be a bad thing when war breaks out and all hell breaks loose—literally…
Katie MacAlister - Fire Me Up
I’m Aisling Grey, and apparently I’m irresistible… Being quite the novice Guardian/Keeper of the Gates to Hell, I decided to get in touch with my otherworldly self by attending a convention of supernatural beings in Budapest. For my other career as a courier (with a somewhat tarnished reputation), I have to deliver a priceless amulet to a hermit, much to the amusement of Jim, my wise-cracking fury Newfoundland demon. He should be happy that I was able to squeak through customs with a talking dog… And guess who just happens to be staying at the same hotel as I am? Drake. You remember him. The Wyvern of the Green Dragons? My so-called “mate?” The man who literally fires me up, and makes me act like a love-struck schoolgirl? That Drake. Meanwhile, mortal men are falling at my feet. I don’t know if it’s the Hungarian air or what, but it’s downright embarrassing. All I want to do is find a Guardian mentor to help me control my powers. Should be easy—except that every Guardian I meet with winds up dead. I’m starting to get a complex…
Marian Keyes - Mammy Walsh's A-Z of the Walsh Family
For all fans eagerly awaiting Marian Keyes' new novel The Mystery of Mercy Close - featuring Helen Walsh and out in September - here is a laugh-out-loud ebook-only short guide to everyone's favourite dysfunctional Irish family, Mammy Walsh's A-Z of the Walshes. It does exactly what it says on the tin but here's a brief word from its author, Mammy Walsh herself: 'There's this woman I know from bridge, Mona Hopkins, a lovely woman she is, even if I must admit I'm not that keen on her myself, and she said a great thing the other day. I was expecting her to say "Two no trumps," but instead she comes out with a saying about her children. She says, "Boys wreck your house and girls wreck your head." Isn't that a marvellous bit of wisdom - "Boys wreck your house and girls wreck your head!" And God knows it's the truest thing I've heard in a long time. I should know. I have five girls. Five daughters. And let me tell you, my head is wrecked from them. Although, now that I think of it, so is my house . . .' It's the perfect re-introduction to the Walsh family and Marian's new novel, The Mystery of Mercy Close.
Ben Brooks - Lolito
A Marble Arch közelében foglalok. Kétszázhét font egy éjszaka. Az kétszázhét sör. Az négy olcsó kurva. Macy online. – Foglaltam szállodát, a Marble Arch közelében. – Szuperül hangzik, szivi. Alig várom, hogy találkozzunk. – Ja, hát én is.
Frank O'Connor - My Oedipus Complex and Other Stories
This selection of stories by Frank O'Connor displays to the fullest his versatility, humour and insight in tales about childhood and marriage, sex and religion, war and old age. Here, O'Connor depicts young boys convinced of their own genius or locked in hilarious rivalry with their fathers, and IRA soldiers who must make heartbreaking decisions in the midst of a baffling war. In other tales an old woman threatens to haunt her son if he fails to bury her at her old home, while a scandal threatens to ignite when a floral wreath is sent anonymously to a priest's funeral. In these beautiful evocations of ordinary life - both comic and tragic - O'Connor portrays small moments that take us to the psychological truth at the heart of his characters.
