Amióta képes vagyok beszélni életem elmúlt öt évéről, amit a szcientológiában töltöttem, két kérdés mindig előjön.

Katy Evans - Remy (angol)
Underground fighter Remington Tate is a mystery, even to himself. His mind is dark and light, complex and enlightening. At times his actions and moods are carefully measured, and at others, they spin out of control. Through it all, there's been one constant: wanting, needing, loving, and protecting Brooke Dumas. This is his story; from the first moment he laid eyes on her and knew, without a doubt, she would be the realest thing he's ever had to fight for.

Alvaro Enrigue - Sudden Death
A daring, kaleidoscopic novel about the clash of empires and ideas in the sixteenth century that continue to reverberate throughout modernity a story unlike anything you ve ever read before. "Sudden Death"begins with a brutal tennis match that could decide the fate of the world. The bawdy Italian painter Caravaggio and the loutish Spanish poet Quevedo battle it out before a crowd that includes Galileo, Mary Magdalene, and a generation of popes who would throw Europe into the flames. In England, Thomas Cromwell and Henry VIII behead Anne Boleyn, and her crafty executioner transforms her legendary locks into the most sought-after tennis balls of the time. Across the ocean in Mexico, the last Aztec emperors play their own games, as conquistador Hernan Cortes and his Mayan translator and lover, La Malinche, scheme and conquer, fight and f**k, not knowing that their domestic comedy will change the world. And in a remote Mexican colony a bishop reads Thomas More s "Utopia" and thinks that instead of a parody, it s a manual. In this mind-bending, prismatic novel, worlds collide, time coils, traditions break down. There are assassinations and executions, hallucinogenic mushrooms, utopias, carnal liaisons and papal dramas, artistic and religious revolutions, love stories and war stories. A dazzlingly original voice and a postmodern visionary, Alvaro Enrigue tells a grand adventure of the dawn of the modern era in this short, powerful punch of a novel. Game, set, match."

Then a clumsy, obnoxious customer asks her to dinner, and Delta realizes what she wants is something she never expected. Michael Walker may have elevated himself above the middle class standards of his family, but nothing has prepared him for the princess of a woman he finds in Delta. M. Leighton - Erkenne mich

Im Detail und in den Lügen. Wie weit werden zwei Menschen für die Liebe gehen?

Lauren Gilley - Dream of You
Jordan Walker learned the hard way that dreams diminish with time and age. He dreamed of Olympic medals and golden shoes, of cheering crowds and endless stretches of red track laid out before him. Then he dreamed of state and nationals, of college scholarships. He dreamed of the unending support, the shining face of that angelic, flawless first love that gave him wings. And then reality reached out with jagged claws and crippled him just as surely as if he’d torn an ACL. Reality was more damaging than any injury. At twenty five, his track career is over, so he’s settling for a gig as a college Health and Physical Science professor and coach at his alma mater. It’s not his dream job, but really, who has the stomach for dreams anymore? Then he meets Ellie. English major Ellie Grayson has three objectives: graduate from college in three years, publish a novel, and let nothing distract her from either. But her young HPS professor is not so much a distraction as a fascination, and as she digs deeper beneath his impassive surface, she thinks he might just be someone worth dreaming about. Both damaged, both cautious, Jordan and Ellie have to decide where to draw the line between fantasy and reality, and more importantly, which one they really want.

Lauren Gilley - Fearless
From the author of the Walker Series comes a family drama like no other, a sprawling character epic, a forbidden love story full of angst, adventure, heartbreak, and second chances. Felix Lécuyer left the swamps of Louisiana for a life as an outlaw biker named Mercy, but it was his family, and the retribution he dealt because of it, that made him famous within the club. Fourteen years ago he fled New Orleans for Knoxville, to become an extractor and bodyguard within the mother chapter, guarding Ghost Teague’s family, becoming a constant companion to little Ava. When she was seventeen, he finally crossed the line. Now she’s twenty-two, and he’s back in town as an old nemesis rears its ugly head, and puts the entire club in danger. The fate of the club is uncertain, but Mercy has no doubts about his heart; it still belongs to Ava. Now available as a complete novel, 'Fearless' launches a thrilling new series about the Lean Dogs MC of Tennessee, and the women tough enough to love them.

Lauren Gilley - Fix You

If she can survive the renovations – and the attention of her contractor – she just might succeed. At least, she hopes so. But when has anything ever been so simple? Army Ranger turned contractor Chris Haley has big plans for the inn…and its owner. He’s never met anyone as cool, as blunt, as totally impossible…or absolutely beautiful as Jess. He’s been alone for too long, and he has a feeling she has too, even if she’s hiding behind a bitter exterior as damaged as her new house. When it comes to renovations, hearts aren’t so different from homes.

Lauren Gilley - God Love Her
When her parents divorced, Layla Russell went to LA with her mother, and her little brother Johnny stayed behind with their father. In the eighteen years since, she's tried to maintain a relationship with the other half of her family in Georgia, but a real closeness is lacking...and when she gets the call that her dad has been shot and left for dead, the guilt is crushing. She should have spent more time with him; should have made the trip more often. She catches the first flight to Atlanta; Mark's surgery was a success, but he won't wake up, and the doctors aren't optimistic. Layla quickly realizes that this shooting wasn't random, and that her uncle, her cousin, her brother, and the rest of the "family" are launching their own investigation. Her uncle's Business Security Solutions doesn't work strictly within the law, and neither does the powerful enemy they're chasing. The more deeply entrenched she becomes in the case, the more dangerous she realizes it is...and the more intrigued she becomes by her father's friend Sly. He's made her a promise to keep her safe, but how can she trust a court-martialed car thief turned mechanic? How can she afford not to?

Lauren Gilley - Keep You
Told in both the “Then” and the “Now”, the novel follows the story of Tameron Wales, a boy who had to grow up too fast because his mother needed him, and who drove away the love of his life on purpose so that he might spare her from the violent threat of his father. Joanna Walker, twenty-three and youngest of five, struggling to make ends meet post-grad, still doesn’t understand exactly what happened four years ago when Tam left her standing up against her dorm building, in the rain, like something out of a bad made-for-TV movie. She only knows that her brother Mike’s wedding – an extravagant, farcical Irish castle ordeal ordered by his fiancée – will reunite her with Tam. The only thing more painful than remembering how it all ended is seeing him again. Jo Walker is the kind of girl who knows what she wants out of life, and she’s always wanted Tam, even if she kind of hates him a little bit right now.

Lauren Gilley - Love Is...
Pure, unadulterated Valentine’s Day fluff and sweetness set a few months after Walking Wounded. Luke hates Valentine’s Day. Always has. And yet, here he is, just after four in the morning, and he’s thinking about it. Worrying, actually. Because this year, he has a Valentine, and a no-gifts policy just isn’t going to be an option.

Lauren Gilley - Made for Breaking
When she was nineteen, Lisa Russell’s life turned upside down…and kept turning. Now, at twenty-four, she’s a bartender, a receptionist, and too jaded for her own good. An only child, she’s served as daughter and son to her father, tagging along with his mechanics and security contractors. She tests his rules and his patience, absolutely fearless…until someone from her father’s past reaches out to deliver a mysterious threat. With bouquets of flowers, and a strange note, a killer with a bone to pick brings a terror to her world she’s never known. Prize fighter Drew Forester knows only two things: that he’s good in the ring, and that he’s instantly attracted to his new boss’s daughter. He’s been charged with tailing Lisa Russell, keeping her safe, and keeping his hands to himself. It’s a tall order, though, because Lisa takes too many risks – and because it’s not just about the job anymore. It’s about the girl.

Lauren Gilley - Rosewood
Return to Rosewood Inn for a collection of glimpses at the Walker Family in three new short stories: “What Ails You,” “The Vacation,” and, "Totaled." Author Lauren Gilley returns to Marietta with the Walker siblings and their spouses, illuminating their struggles, and triumphs post-series. Don’t miss the first four volumes: Keep You, Dream of You, Better Than You, and Fix You.

Lauren Gilley - Secondhand Smoke
Real life. It isn’t sexy. Isn’t pretty. There are no alpha bad boys. No easy outs. No Hollywood soundtrack. Real life hurts like hell and tastes like the grit between your teeth. And love…love always bears a hefty price. This isn’t a biker romance. This is love and war in the world of the Lean Dogs MC. Aidan Teague was born into the Lean Dogs Motorcycle Club, a third generation outlaw with big biker boots to fill. A perpetual screw-up and playboy, he’s never taken life seriously. Until now. If his accident a year ago was a wakeup call, then a jolting revelation from his latest lover is a life-altering shock. It won’t be simple, but it’s high time Aidan came into his own. With the club on the brink of a new war, beset by enemies old and new, Aidan must find the strength to lead, or risk everyone he loves. Secondhand Smoke is the fourth full-length installment in the Dartmoor Series, and is NOT a standalone. This is a work of literary fiction, so readers should expect lyrical prose and an emphasis on character development and realism.

Lauren Gilley - Shaman
The criminal underworld knows him as Shaman. Ian Byron has spent the past few years amassing a fortune, becoming the premiere supplier of all the vices anyone could want. He controls a sizable chunk of the drug trade in North America – including the product moved by the Lean Dogs MC. Cool, and cruel, the untouchable Mr. Shaman doesn’t have a weakness. Except for the man who started as a distraction, and who’s become the love of his life. It’s Christmas in Knoxville, and old demons have come to call on Ian. The more he tries to push Alec away for his own safety, the more tightly he clings to their dissolving relationship. Ian’s about to learn that his boyfriend is just as stubborn as he is, and that he can always count on the Lean Dogs MC.

Lauren Gilley - Shelter

How does a landscaper from quiet, suburban Marietta get gunned down in the heart of Atlanta? What are the police not telling her? And most important, why does her family not care? Alone, a bundle of ragged nerves, she turns to Sam's cousin Carlos for comfort. Carlos grew up with his cousin Sam - they were more like brothers than cousins - and the death hits him hard, even harder than Alma knows because Carlos was there the night Sam was shot. As Alma searches for closure, Carlos tries to keep one step ahead of her, hiding the painful truth of Sam's dark associations, all while getting himself more deeply entrenched in the Atlanta drug trade. With the help of Sam's friend Sean, Carlos sets out to find the man who shot his cousin. But when the trail leads to a new, powerful entrant into the narcotics business, it's no longer Carlos's freedom that's at stake, but Alma's life.

Lauren Gilley - Tastes Like Candy
Raised by a widower and a pack of uncles, Michelle Calloway has known only one way of life, that of the Lean Dogs MC, London chapter. When circumstances force her to flee to America, she fears her days of working alongside the club are over. But Derek Snow isn't the sort of man to let talent go to waste. In Amarillo, Texas, Vice President Candyman faces the challenge of preserving his club and protecting his growing family. If Charlie Fox's niece has a head for numbers, he's going to put her to use. But he never would have guessed little Michelle would be so grown up already...

Lauren Gilley - The Skeleton King
His club brothers call him the Money Man. Vice President Kingston Walsh is one of the most trusted members of the Lean Dogs MC. He’s thoughtful, quiet, and he’s all business. Who better to serve as guardian of the club’s skeletons? He never counted on the girl, but he’s not letting her go. She has skeletons too… Emmie Johansen has worked at the same horse farm all her life, and when the owner decides to sell, she’s crushed. Briar Hall is about to be sold to real estate developers, and she’s about to be out of a job, a home, and a purpose. Enter Walsh, and the Lean Dogs MC. Emmie thought losing the farm was the worst possible scenario. But when the club buys Briar Hall, and keeps her on as manager, she begins to unravel the farm’s dark secrets… and learns the true meaning of “outlaw.”

Lauren Gilley - Walking Wounded
Luke always thought he’d grow up to be a famous author. He also thought nothing could ever damage his relationship with his childhood best friend, Hal. He thought a lot of things that proved to be untrue. Now he barely makes rent and proofreads articles at a New York gossip rag, dreaming about what-might-have-been. He’s not bitter about it. He’s not. And he certainly isn’t lonely. Will Maddox – Korean War vet, unapologetic curmudgeon – is the father of a controversial young US Senator, and he’s in trouble with the law after striking someone outside a charity event. In Luke’s eyes, he’s just a senile old man with anger management issues, and he has no idea why his editor would send him to DC to interview him. He flies down from New York thinking he’ll stay a day, expecting an epically boring assignment. The catch? Hal works security for the Maddox family. And he’s really excited to see Luke after three years apart. And Luke is still really, hopelessly, desperately in love with his best friend. Luke’s about to learn there’s a big difference between expectations and reality. And this interview just might be the best thing that’s ever happened to him. A book about the bravery of ordinary people, and the wounds they carry.
