Hasznosnak bizonyult a gyakorlati életben is a tömörítésben megkívánt készség fejlesztése (hosszabb magyar szöveg tartalmi ismertetése angol nyelven). A feladatok írója angol mintamegoldást ad valamennyi fordítási feladathoz.

Szabó Attila Henrik - Idézetek könyve

E. L. James - Fifty Shades Freed
When unworldly student Ana Steele first encountered the driven, damaged young entrepreneur Christian Grey it sparked a sensual affair that changed both their lives irrevocably. Shocked, intrigued, and ultimately repelled by Christian’s singular sexual tastes, Ana demanded a deeper commitment; determined to keep her, Christian agreed. Now, together, they have more – love, passion, intimacy, and a world of infinite possibilities. But Ana always knew that loving her Fifty Shades would not be easy, and being together poses challenges neither of them ever anticipated. Ana must somehow learn to share Christian’s opulent lifestyle without sacrificing her own integrity, identity or independence; Christian must somehow overcome his compulsion to control, and lay to rest the horrors that blighted his past and haunt his present. Just when it seems that together their love can conquer any obstacle, misfortune, malice and fate combine to make Ana’s worst nightmares come true. Alone and desperate, she must face down the poisoned legacy of Christian’s past. Seductive, shocking, sad and funny, Fifty Shades Freed is the compelling final volume in the Fifty Shades trilogy.

Christopher Monger - Englishman Who Went Up a Hill and Came Down a Mountain
1917. The peace of a remote Welsh village, nestling comfortably in the shadow of what the inhabitants reverently call their 'mountain', is rudely shatterred by the arrival of two English mapmakers who have the temerity to announce that the 'mountain' is merely a 'hill' in geographical terms. It is a difference of only twenty feet - but a greater injustice than the villagers can bear. With smarting pride they band together to keep the mapmakers occupied whilst they set about putting the situation to rights... whatever it takes. Written and directed by Christopher Monger, The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill But Came Down a Mountain is a beautifully observed romantic comedy, which proves that mind over matter is still a powerful force for change...

For he has told of how his young bride Edith and other members of his exploring party were spirited away by the unearthly androgynous Dweller of the Moon Pool - a "thing" that arises at the full moon from the wailed ruins of an ancient Polynesian culture and manifests itself amid the faint chanting of voices, a drifting, undulating, crystalline chiming, and a glittering cluster of palely colored lights. Its embrace induces feelings of both rapture and terror in its prey, a state that Throckmartin describes was "as though the icy soul of evil and the fiery soul of good had stepped together within me." Bearing the peculiar small white mark of the Shining One, Throckmartln had miraculously escaped the fate of his friends. And then, before Goodwin's eyes, aboard the ship that is bearing them both across the Southern seas beneath another full moon, Throckmartin disappears in the glistening embrace of the pursuing Dweller of the Moon Pool. Determined to solve the rnystery of the Moon Pool and learn the fate of Throckmartin and his party, Goodwin sets out on an expedition that includes among its members an Irish air ace named Larry O'Keefe, a huge modern Viking named Olaf Huldricksson, and a sinister Soviet scientist named Marakinoff.
